Climate Crisis Poll to My Online Group

Yours truly has just created the following for deliberation by

that we will present to Congress on September 11, 2008.

Here are some radically strong ideas we can bring to congress to pass:

1. Form an International Consortium to take over the European ITER program (a)  with the intent of accelerating the development of nuclear reactor for power plants; with the first power plant targeted within nine years, i.e. 2016 at the latest not 2035 as per the current program's target (remember Dr. Hanson's warning in many of my current messages – we only have a decade!)

 (a) see Nuclear Fusion Research as shown on youtube   http://livinggracefully.com/Global_Warming/nuclear_fusion_research_as_shown.htm

2. Invest our social security in renewable, alternative energy industry. This sector consists of companies that are now engaged in the research, development and actual implementation of renewable, sustainable alternative energy (e.g., biomass, solar, wind, geothermal, etc.). My well documented exceptional success in my investment undertaking proves that this is a very safe haven for retirement funds( b).

 (b) check for instance Special Alert February 6, 2008 Our no secret portfolio that is again up today simply ignores the market direction!  http://livinggracefully.com/Financial_Newsletter/special_alert_february_6_2008.htm

3. Mandate automakers to produce cars, vans and trucks with much higher mileage requirement for all cars in the order of at least 100 miles/gallon. This is feasible because some hybrid experimental technology has test cars that already exceed (c) this requirement.

(c) Auto X Prize announces the teams competing to build 100-mpg car http://blogs.consumerreports.org/cars/2007/08/100-mpg-car.html

4. Require construction of new buildings( d) to get certification for heat and air-conditioning efficiency as well as use of renewable, alternative energy such as solar, wind, etc.

(d) My friend, gave us his insight in An Open Letter from a friend, Dr. Robert Sczech of the Rutgers Newark Department of Mathematics (a true environmentalist in deed!)  http://livinggracefully.com/Global_Warming/an_open_letter_from_a_friend.htm

*5. Agree with the consensus of Worldwide Climate Change agreement next year (2009) in Copenhagen (e).

(e) Dr. Steve Chu,1997 Nobel laureate Physics; Director, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory; UC Berkeley Professor of Physics and of Molecular and Cell Biology totally agrees, for example with the trading on carbon as a way to force a lifestyle change worldwide - click Radically Innovative Approaches to Solving the Climate Crisis http://livinggracefully.com/Global_Warming/radically_innovative_approaches.htm

Note that although the poll closes exactly a month before we march to Washington, D.C., it is highly advisable that you let your voice heard as soon as possible.

Join our group to help solve Global Warming through innovative means such as development of Nuclear Fusion, the cleanest source of energy that could replace the culprit carbon dioxide emitting fossil fuels!

Learn, educate, share your ideas. Check the latest contribution of Ranger, a member of our group: ZPEnergy.com - Navy Discovers Cold Fusion (again)
Address:http://www.zpenergy.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=2292.

Acquire knowledge from our other numerous erudite contributions such as Starry-eyed physicists point to the promise of unlimited fuel and minimal waste. But politicians blanch at fusion's price tag and worry about getting burned http://livinggracefully.com/Global_Warming/starry.htm. Then apply it by taking action on your own, or with your family, friends and associates for instance to save on energy, minimize use of fossil fuels, etc.

Much better still -

We are now soliciting selfless, passionate, born leaders to join hands to coordinate this historic occasion on local, state and national levels.

We are now on the verge of a Global Economic Recession. But no problem because our portfolio consisting of companies in the renewable energy industry simply ignores the general direction of the market!

Is it possible that a much simpler solution, first brought to our group's attention by our member Ranger<

could be a better one?
