Some financial pundits are now even proudly heralding that
these industries will turn out to be much, much more profitable than the
internet and dot com boom!
There are numerous companies that have been around in this
business. And now even upstarts are coming in droves!
Obviously my favorites are the ones I just invested in:
Amelot Holdings,
Inc. (AMHD: OTCPK) * ** - a diversified holding company focused on alternative
energy and biofuels.
Alcard
Chemical Group Inc. (OTCPK: ACMG) * represents a significant market
opportunity due to a serious worldwide supply shortage of raw materials for
polymers as well as an increased requirement for ethanol and biodiesel. ACMG has
been concentrating on innovative methods for biomass valorisation for the past
decade, specifically petroleum-independent fuel and plastics resin production.
It's proprietary technology represents today's most economical and advanced
manufacturing process for plastic raw materials, ethanol and bio-diesel,
allowing production at cost savings of up to 40% when compared to current
production methods.
Beacon Power Corporation (BCON:
NASDAQ ) 1 designs and develops flywheel-based
power systems. The Company's systems provide uninterruptible electric power for
communications networks, computers, the Internet, industrial manufacturing,
commercial facilities, and distributed generation applications. More
importantly, according to their published statement, it "designs and
manufactures power conversion and sustainable energy storage systems for the
distributed generation, renewable energy, and backup power markets."
Blue Diamond
Ventures, Inc. (OTCPK: BLDV) 2 is an agriculture, bio fuels and commercial
development company with operations in Belize and the U.S.

Special Update July 5, 2007
We liquidated Beacon
Power Corporation (BCON: NASDAQ
) after its unusual run-up on July
3 releasing more funds for other investments. We made 50.4% profit on this
for only 21-day holding or an amazing 876% percent annualized return! (Pinch
me please if I am just dreaming!) and used the funds to reinvest in:
Earth Biofuels Inc
(OTCBB: EBOF) engages in the production, distribution, and retail of
alternative fuels, with a focus on biodiesel fuel, in the United States. It
produces pure biodiesel fuel (B100) through the utilization of vegetable oils,
such as soy and canola oil as raw material. The company distributes
petroleum/biodiesel blended fuel, such as B20 through wholesale distributors
and direct retail sales.
GS CleanTech Corporation
(OTCBB: GSCT) provides various environmental management services to industrial
organizations in the United States. The company’s environmental services
include transportation, distribution, recycling, and disposal services
specific to the materials and processes of its clients for a range of
industrial wastes; and field services, such as remedial, industrial cleaning,
and other related services.
Kreido Biofuels
(OTCBB:KRBF) - provides renewable energy through its proprietary process
intensification technology - the STT® system. Kreido Biofuels has also
established collaborations with university and government laboratories, such
as the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), to gain a leading position
in the development of advanced chemical processes

Our much better than the market achieving portfolio now
in addition to the above stocks in the emerging alternative,
renewable energy sources comprises of the following:
(1) Liberty
Star Uranium & Metals Corp (LBSU
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=LBSU&sid=0&o_symb=LBSU&x=42&y=13,
renamed from Liberty Star Gold Corp)
is certainly one of my
sterling (golden?) finds, especially now that it has moved from the
laboratory/assaying phase to physically digging the ground for the minerals –
mostly gold and copper!
I may keep this for a
much longer time, because traditionally mining stocks take a while (up to a
year) to be noticed but gold mine stocks have been known to appreciate 1,000% to
2,000% in such a short period of time (e.g., Mill City Gold)! “Terrorism and
Middle East unrest could lead to new highs for gold,” according to James
Rapholz, MS Economics, Editor and Publisher, Economic Advice, who himself has
started two successful publicly traded gold and silver mining stocks. And as
much as I hate to mention this very pertinent statement from this wise, well
educated adviser, “Saudi
Arabia and 58 other Muslim nations are switching from trading in dollars to
trading in gold-backed Muslim dinars.” It also
repositioned its business to take advantage of the growth in alternative sources
of energy, most especially those required by nuclear fission reactors.

Dura Automotive Systems Cl
A (DRRA -

2004.

(7)
Falcon Energy, Inc. (FCYI.)

acquires and explores for oil and gas reserves. The Company focuses on natural
gas plays that may require several wells to be drilled.
(8) OCA
INC (OCA) as
an analyst calls it the "McDonald's of braces," provides business services to
orthodontists and pediatric dentists. The Company's client practices provide
treatment to patients throughout the United States, Japan, Mexico, Spain and
Puerto Rico. It nosedived (in the week beginning 6/6) upon discovery of
impropriety, but steadily stabilized upon immediate action of its Board of
Directors (BOD). From a yearly high of 7.88/sh to a
low of 1.75/sh on 6/12 then immediately stabilized and firmly supported in a
narrow price range between 1.75 and 1.85/sh (including daily fluctuations). On
7/11, my order placed the previous day, Sunday, 7/10, was executed at 1.76/sh.
Then the stock after touching a momentary low of 1.75/shot immediately back up
to 1.82/sh. This opportune incident almost tempted me to resell immediately as
in a day’s trade. But better judgment led me to stick to my disciplined
investing for more profits on a little longer term.
(9) PENDER FINL GROUP CORP
(PDFFF -
http://charts3.barchart.com/chart.asp?sym=PDFFF&data=A&jav=adv&vol=Y&evnt=adv&grid=Y&code=BSTK&org=stk&fix=), also mentioned in the previous quarter’s financial
