(1) Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp (LBSU http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=LBSU&sid=0&o_symb=LBSU&x=42&y=13, renamed from Liberty Star Gold Corp) is certainly one of my sterling (golden?) finds, especially now that it has moved from the laboratory/assaying phase to physically digging the ground for the minerals – mostly gold and copper! I may keep this for a much longer time, because traditionally mining stocks take a while (up to a year) to be noticed but gold mine stocks have been known to appreciate 1,000% to 2,000% in such a short period of time (e.g., Mill City Gold)! “Terrorism and Middle East unrest could lead to new highs for gold,” according to James Rapholz, MS Economics, Editor and Publisher, Economic Advice, who himself has started two successful publicly traded gold and silver mining stocks. And as much as I hate to mention this very pertinent statement from this wise, well educated adviser, “Saudi Arabia and 58 other Muslim nations are switching from trading in dollars to trading in gold-backed Muslim dinars.” It also repositioned its business to take advantage of the growth in alternative sources of energy, most especially those required by nuclear fission reactors.

Watch the breaking out of this stock.

(8) OCA INC (OCA) as an analyst calls it the "McDonald's of braces," provides business services to orthodontists and pediatric dentists. The Company's client practices provide treatment to patients throughout the United States, Japan, Mexico, Spain and Puerto Rico. It nosedived (in the week beginning 6/6) upon discovery of impropriety, but steadily stabilized upon immediate action of its Board of Directors (BOD). From a yearly high of 7.88/sh to a low of 1.75/sh on 6/12 then immediately stabilized and firmly supported in a narrow price range between 1.75 and 1.85/sh (including daily fluctuations). On 7/11, my order placed the previous day, Sunday, 7/10, was executed at 1.76/sh. Then the stock after touching a momentary low of 1.75/shot immediately back up to 1.82/sh. This opportune incident almost tempted me to resell immediately as in a day’s trade. But better judgment led me to stick to my disciplined investing for more profits on a little longer term.
